A few months ago we upgraded to High Speed Internet. We had it before but ran into several problems with adult sites being visited. Our computer was not well. When we upgraded this last time I had to take my computer in and have a complete overhall. This hurt the pocketbook but was less expensive than buying a new tower. Over the last couple of weeks I noticed that my computer was starting to run slower than usual. It wasn't downloading as quickly, there were pop-ups that came out of nowhere, etc. After some research, I found that those adult sites that showed up before had showed up again. I would open up my Creative Media Source program and found videos that I did not approve of.
I know that most of the time we don't pay attention to our machines when they are trying to tell us that they are sick. I have learned that having a program that will take care of all the harmful adware, spyware, trojans, dialers, and worms is a lot less expensive than having to take your computer and having it cleaned or having to buy a new one before you are ready!
